Join Atlas Copco as a Sr. Project Engineer in Pune, India, to manage complex NPI projects ($5-10M+) from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget. You will lead multidisciplinary teams (10-20+) and develop cross-functional plans to meet project objectives while keeping stakeholders informed of progress and risks.

Ansvarsområden

Manage day-to-day operational aspects of complex NPI projects to ensure delivery according to specifications, timescales, and budgets.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams (10-20+) to deliver project requirements on time and to budget.
Develop cross-functional plans to meet project deliverables, both technical and commercial.
Keep project progress and risks visible to project sponsors, programme management, and senior management.
Escalate breach of tolerance, progress roadblocks, and project risks to agree on higher-level mitigation.
Create cross-functional project plans adhering to the product commercialisation process (PCP).
Identify risks, manage them, and produce mitigation plans.
Ensure engineering information is delivered timely for spare parts, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
Chair Project Team Meetings and provide weekly highlight reports to the Programme Manager.
Present Project Progress to site and divisional stakeholders monthly.
Forge close links with Product Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, and Service.

Krav

A good Engineering/Scientific degree.
5 years involvement in the process of product development in a high technology environment.
3 years experience in a Project Management capacity.
Experience and understanding of a project compliance/methodology.
Proven ability to manage complex projects, delivering products on time, to specification, and on budget.
Proven ability to generate resource plans and drive schedule adherence while maintaining flexibility.
Technical/commercial awareness to make appropriate decisions balancing conflicting drivers.
Excellent IT literacy, competent user of MS Office.
Excellent fluency in spoken and written English.
Strong communication skills, organisational awareness, and impact.
Influencing, communication, presentation, and negotiating skills.
Ability to make things happen at all levels by communicating, elevating, and facilitating.
Methodical approach to problem-solving.
Ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external customers/suppliers.
Self-motivated and resourceful.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Project management qualification would be desirable (Preferably Prince 2, APM certified or equivalent).
MS Project desirable.
Knowledge of Engineering Change Management would be desirable but non-essential.
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing/assembly/service would be desirable but non-essential.
Knowledge of Hazop, FMEA would be desirable but non-essential.
Knowledge of European and International standards and directives would be desirable but non-essential.
Ability to think laterally and encourage others to do the same.
Flexible and capable of working in a complex environment.
