Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Tech to lead product strategy for its supply chain systems, focusing on ML-driven demand forecasting, procurement, and inventory placement. This role involves defining product vision, translating complex constraints into requirements, and driving outcomes by partnering with engineering, science, and operations teams.
Ansvarsområden
- Define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for pharmacy supply chain systems: demand forecasting, procurement, inventory placement and capacity planning.
- Translate complex supply chain and healthcare constraints (expiry, controlled substances, state regulations) into product requirements that engineering teams can build against.
- Design and own the end-to-end metrics framework for pharmacy supply chain health within your domain.
- Work with Operations, Compliance, Vendor Management, Fulfillment, Finance, and In-Stock partners to provide solutions and drive improvements.
- Partner with Applied Scientists and ML Engineers to define success criteria for forecasting models, optimization algorithms, and automated decision systems.
- Influence without authority across multiple teams and organizations to drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
- Knowledge of writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Master's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, sourcing, optimization and logistics or equivalent.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated supply chains.
- Experience with ML/AI product management — defining success criteria for models, managing model lifecycle, A/B testing ML systems.
