This role is responsible for posting payments from various sources to customer accounts, reconciling payments, and reducing un-applied cash receipts. The analyst will research missing funds, collaborate with internal departments, and analyze reports to communicate results to management.
Ansvarsområden
- Posting daily receipts (wires/ACH/checks) and credit/debit memos on a timely basis.
- Contacting customers, collections, and business partners to obtain remittance details.
- Researching and resolving misapplied and unidentified cash receipts in ERP.
- Identifying and manually tagging customer remit discrepancies and short payments.
- Undertaking tasks for testing and process improvement as requested by the Team Leader.
- Assisting in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process.
- Maintaining, preparing, and distributing daily and monthly reporting.
- Meeting monthly productivity goals.
- Identifying and reconciling payment differences, posting short/over payments, deductions, and partial payments.
- Utilizing shared mailboxes and customer web portals to identify, retrieve, and organize remittance details.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com).
- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- 3+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience.
