ABB is seeking a Sr. Field Application and Service Engineer (UPS Engineer) in Taipei City, Taiwan. This hybrid role involves conducting technical discussions, executing service work, and providing technical support to customers in the critical power division.

Ansvarsområden

  • Conduct technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Execute service work with low to medium complexity.
  • Plan for technical support and execute work with a first-time right approach.
  • Display a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care.
  • Act as a technical point of contact and communication window.
  • Perform technical discussions during pre-sales stages and liaise with customers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and eliminate pain points.
  • Utilize local practices to notify the account team about opportunities.
  • Perform field service tasks, identify technical issues, and perform analysis.
  • Prepare material lists for service activity and ensure availability and quality of materials.
  • Troubleshoot equipment/process failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Supervise subcontractors during site works at customer sites.
  • Prepare all documents and customer reports for signature.

Krav

  • 5 years of experience in semiconductor and/or industrial fields in tool or equipment or related business.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, EE is preferred.
  • At ease communicating in Chinese and English.
