ABB seeks an experienced Senior Field Service Technician for the Western US, operating remotely with significant travel. This role involves on-site and remote support for industrial equipment, emphasizing preventive maintenance, calibration, and customer service. The ideal candidate has a strong electro-mechanical background and at least 5 years of related field service experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and corrective service.
  • Provide on-site and remote access support for laboratory and production process testing instruments.
  • Ensure service activities comply with established ISO certified policies and procedures and are documented accordingly.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to meet customer needs.

Krav

  • Associate’s degree in electrical or equivalent work/military experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years experience, OR HS Diploma and 7+ years experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years related field service support experience.
  • General software knowledge (Win10, Win11, MS Office365) is a must.
  • Ability to travel up to 65-70% domestically and internationally.
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the past 3+ years.
  • Possess US work authorization.
  • Ability to acquire a US passport.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with network support, computer repair and OS restoration, and software configuration is preferred.
  • Knowledge of calibration and electronic test equipment is strongly desired.
