Atlas Copco is seeking a Sr. Embedded Test Engineer in Pune, India. This role involves developing and executing test plans for next-generation cryogenic vacuum pumps, focusing on verification methodologies, quality assurance, and test automation using Python and C++. Ansvarsområden

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and C++.
  • Identify and document test scenarios and test data requirements.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Design and develop test automation frameworks and tools to improve test efficiency.
  • Maintain and enhance existing test automation scripts and infrastructure.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Conduct testing of embedded systems and firmware to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
  • Validate communication protocols and interfaces in embedded systems.
  • Ensure adherence to software development standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Communicate test results and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics / Software.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Proven experience with Python and C++ programming languages, with Automation Frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems and its testing.
  • Proficiency in developing automated test scripts using Python and C++.
  • Experience with embedded system development and testing tools.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, BitBucket).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
