Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) for their Professional Services team in India. This role involves managing a technical team of Delivery Consultants, serving as a strategic advisor to enterprise customers, and driving innovative solutions on the AWS cloud. The DPM will be responsible for team development, customer satisfaction, and successful delivery of cloud transformation projects.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.
  • Architect and implement innovative solutions with customers and partners.
  • Engage with Director, C-level executives, and governing boards.
  • Drive business development initiatives through thought leadership.
  • Provide portfolio guidance and oversight.
  • Meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets.
  • Understand and define business outcomes for customers.
  • Build trust and identify applicable AWS Professional Services offerings.
  • Optimize team performance through tailored people development plans.
  • Translate technical concepts into business value for customers.
  • Cultivate strong customer, Amazon Global Sales (AGS), and ProServe team relationships.
  • Deliver engagements on time, within budget, and exceed customer expectations.
  • Hold the Practice total utilization goal and optimize team performance.
  • Collaborate with AWSI sales managers to develop strong customer and partner relationships.
  • Drive AWS adoption in key markets and accounts.
  • Deliver consulting engagements, from short on-site projects to massive cloud migration projects.
  • Coach and teach partners and customers to learn and use AWS services.
  • Lead high-quality delivery of customized engagements with partners and Global Accounts customers.
  • Attract top technology talent to build high-performing teams.
  • Work with AWS engineering teams to convey customer feedback for AWS technology roadmaps.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges.
  • Experience with consulting practice leadership as manager of managers with team size 50+ and P&L responsibility.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP).
  • Experience with design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services.
  • Experience with international sales and delivery work with global F500 enterprise customers and partners.
  • Experience with vertical industry sales and delivery work of contemporary services and solutions.
