I korthet

We are seeking a Sr. Buyer for a hybrid role in Greenwood, IN. This position is responsible for executing and maintaining the sourcing process, managing supplier relationships, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience, 3+ years of purchasing experience, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Execute and maintain cost roll activities.
  • Manage and resolve supplier escalations.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives (D365, Blue Yonder, Jakamo, Power BI).
  • Participate in cross-functional task forces.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions.
  • Perform basic data quality management.
  • Maintain and update price lists.
  • Manage the initial sample process.
  • Oversee supplier onboarding and phase-out.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve supply shortages.
  • Control daily purchasing activities and manage price deviations.
  • Attend PIM meetings, escalate risks and issues.
  • Lead the technical onboarding of suppliers into digital platforms.
  • Analyze and update lead time accuracy.
  • Provide support for claims handling.
  • Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Act as responsible contact for internal suppliers.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience related to purchasing.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Data analysis skills.
