HCLTech seeks a Sr Administrator with 8+ years of experience in managing large-scale datacenter networks. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and supporting client data center networks globally. The role requires strong communication, documentation, and customer relationship skills, with adaptability for off-hours support.

Ansvarsområden

  • Support datacenter networks implementations and operations.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure maximum network updates.
  • Understand and support client data center networks globally.
  • Advise on modern technologies and design changes.
  • Execute software upgrades, device hardening, standardization, and cleanup tasks.
  • Maintain Datacenter Network devices inventory.
  • Maintain up-to-date datacenter network diagrams using Visio.
  • Attend high severity technical bridges and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Fulfill requests and resolve incidents in adherence with SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and close problem tickets.
  • Act proactively on alerts/incidents generated by network monitoring tools.
  • Support tasks related to Configuration Management, Change Management, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management etc.
  • Support EOL/EOS devices refresh projects.
  • Coordinate with OEM technical support to resolve complex issues.
  • Collaborate with Customer network teams and HCL teams deployed globally.
  • Train and support L1 engineers about network infrastructure.

Krav

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience managing large scale datacenter networks with proficiency in various technologies.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience required to support installation, configuration, administration, and advanced troubleshooting of datacenter networks.
  • Knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting complex layer two technologies (VLAN Trunks, VTP Ether channel, STP, RSTP and MST).
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ASR, ACI platforms.
  • Experience with WAN protocols (OSPF, BGP).
  • Experience with Stack wise, VDC, VPC.
  • Packet capture and analyzing skills.
  • Ability to handle day-to-day issues in LAN / WAN infrastructure.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with Cisco datacenter switches and routers.
  • Ability to coordinate with Vendors (OEM / TP).
  • Knowledge of SDWAN solutions (Viptela / Meraki / Velo).
  • CCNA is Mandatory.
