I korthet
The Sr Administrator (Support & Operations), also known as an EUC OT Engineer (L2), is a technical specialist focused on the delivery, stability, and enhancement of OT End User Computing and data enablement services within a large manufacturing setting. This role serves as a second-level escalation point for OT EUC operations, device management, edge/gateway platforms, and shopfloor-to-enterprise data flows, ensuring device availability and data reliability under ITSM and SIAM frameworks.
Ansvarsområden
- Act as the L2 supporting technical authority for OT EUC services across all production sites
- Own and resolve complex and recurring OT EUC incidents beyond L1/L2 capabilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize MDM configurations (Intune/SOTI) for device stability, security, and scalability
- Ensure reliable OT data flow from MES / SCADA / PLC systems to ERP and Cloud platforms
- Operate and troubleshoot Edge & Gateway platforms (e.g., Litmus) to maintain data availability and integrity
- Support OT data storage, backup, replication, and retention in coordination with IT infrastructure teams
- Monitor and report on device health, data quality, and data availability, proactively identifying risks
- Participate in major incident bridges, lead root-cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes
- Maintain accurate asset and CMDB records for OT devices and gateways
- Contribute to service reporting, SLA reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and act as the go-to OT EUC consultant for operational and technical guidance
- Work closely with OT, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders within defined RACI and contractual boundaries
Krav
- Strong hands-on experience in OT End User Computing (EUC) within manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics environments, supporting large-scale industrial device estates
- Experience managing MES Platforms (Infor MES systems)
- Experience managing OT Data Pipelines (MES / SCADA / PLC → ERP / Cloud)
- Experience managing Edge & Gateway Infrastructure (plant-level gateways, e.g., Litmus)
- Experience supporting OT devices (Handheld Scanners, Shopfloor Tablets, Label Printers)
- Proven experience supporting OT data integration pipelines, including MES, SCADA, and PLC data ingestion, and data movement to ERP and/or Cloud platforms
- Understanding of OT vs IT responsibility (OT defines data logic; IT ensures recoverability)
- Hands-on experience managing Edge & Gateway infrastructure (e.g., Litmus) to ensure reliable shopfloor-to-enterprise data flow
- Strong working knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) aligned to a SIAM operating model
- Experience acting as L3 escalation for critical OT EUC and data incidents, including participation in 24/7 major incident support
- Solid understanding of OT/IT networking concepts, including VLANs, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, and firewall coordination
- Experience with OT data storage and infrastructure-level data management, including backup strategies, replication, and retention policies
- Coordination with IT infrastructure teams to ensure recoverability
- Strong exposure to data quality and availability monitoring, including monitoring data-transfer success and identifying missing, delayed, or corrupted data
- Supporting root-cause analysis with OT teams and vendors
- Experience maintaining asset inventories and CMDB records for OT devices and gateways
- Ability to produce technical service reports, availability dashboards, and SLA inputs
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, working effectively within RACI-based operational models
