Specialist II General Ledger professional needed in Mandaluyong, Philippines to process general ledger transactions, including bank reconciliation, inventory and fixed asset accounting, accruals, prepayments/amortization, and month-end activities. The role involves collaborating with internal and external customers and identifying operational improvements for financial services.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform Fixed Assets Accounting and assist in preparing ad hoc reports.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, Goods in Transit Reconciliation, Accruals and Provisions, and other month-end financial close activities.
  • Validate the accuracy of data, verify discrepancies, and resolve reconciling transactions.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliation and analyze account details to validate correctness.
  • Collaborate closely with various partners for critical deliverables.
  • Check reports for completeness and validate compliance.
  • Prepare and post Journal entries and troubleshoot disputes.
  • Prepare and provide supporting documents for audit requirements.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Accounting-related courses.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in general accounting, primarily in General Ledger performing bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed assets, and audit support.
  • Solid understanding of internal control and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, including Oracle and SAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
