Ansvarsområden
- Lead the development and application of steering systems for regional and global commercial vehicle platforms.
- Define system requirements, technical solutions, and verification & validation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive technical problem solving, root cause investigations, DFMEA activities, and product quality improvements.
- Lead supplier development and technical alignment activities to ensure robust and competitive solutions.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams across multiple functions and locations.
- Contribute to steering technology roadmaps and future product strategies.
- Coach and support colleagues by actively sharing knowledge and promoting engineering excellence.
Krav
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the development of steering systems within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, steering technologies, and system integration.
- Proven experience leading complex technical activities involving cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience with electrohydraulic steering systems, ADAS, or driver assistance technologies.
- Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and safety-critical system development.
- Experience with verification & validation methodologies and vehicle testing.
- Familiarity with CAN communication and vehicle measurement or diagnostic tools.
