Edwards is looking for a Sourcing Engineer to lead sourcing activities for NPI projects, manage supplier performance, and drive contract negotiations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 3+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, and strong communication and project management skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead VSC projects launch from sourcing activities, ensuring materials and services are procured within agreed parameters.
  • Drive commodity strategy definition and implementation.
  • Lead supplier performance evaluation and continuous improvement focusing on quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability.
  • Drive signature and renewal of contracts and agreements with suppliers.
  • Manage and improve supplier capacity and capability.
  • Lead supplier selection and development according to SESPA process.
  • Apply 10 principles and supplier selection matrix on components RFQ and business award process.
  • Support NPI team in sourcing activities to meet project milestones and QCD targets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enrich cost reduction projects pool.
  • Drive negotiations on commercial terms to meet company operation targets.
  • Work with SQE to resolve supplier technical queries and quality issues.
  • Manage and follow business operational processes, SAP maintenance, and prototype orders.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 years or more experience of procurement in a manufacturing environment.
  • Cost analysis skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Team player.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
