As a Sourcing Engineer 1 at Edwards in Qingdao or Shanghai, you will lead SVD projects from sourcing activities, ensuring timely and efficient procurement of materials and services. You will drive commodity strategy, manage supplier performance, and lead contract negotiations to meet company targets.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead SVD projects launch from sourcing activities.
- Ensure materials and services are procured within agreed parameters, quality, inventory levels, and delivery performance.
- Drive commodity strategy definition and implementation.
- Lead supplier performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Drive signature and renewal of contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Manage and improve supplier capacity and capability.
- Lead supplier selection and development according to SESPA process.
- Apply 10 principles and supplier selection matrix on components RFQ and business award process.
- Support NPI team and project sourcing in NPI sourcing activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enrich cost reduction projects pool.
- Drive negotiations on commercial terms.
- Work with SQE to resolve supplier technical queries and quality issues.
- Manage and follow business operational process, SAP maintenance, prototype order.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 3 years or more experience of procurement in a manufacturing environment.
- Cost analysis skills.
- Communication skills.
- Project management skills.
- Team player.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
