Amazon seeks a Solutions Architect Manager in India to lead a team of solutions architects, focusing on scalable and reliable systems for travel and logistics customers. Responsibilities include defining team vision, driving architectural decisions, and managing/developing the team. This role requires a technical leader with experience in cloud architecture, team leadership, and a Bachelor's degree, with preferred experience in CXO level engagement.

Ansvarsområden

  • Define and communicate team vision, goals, and long-term strategy by working backwards from customer problems, partnering with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams to align on priorities and architectural direction.
  • Lead architectural reviews and drive system design decisions, evaluating tradeoffs across reliability, security, performance, and cost while ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable over time.
  • Build, grow, and manage an inclusive team of solutions architects, providing coaching, career development, and actionable feedback that empowers each team member to deliver results and advance their professional growth.
  • Establish workflows, service level agreements, and audit mechanisms that ensure operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and measurable quality across your team's deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce complexity, leveraging generative artificial intelligence tools and reusable patterns to improve team productivity and accelerate solution delivery.

Krav

  • 10+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc. experience
  • 2+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • 8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles

  • Experience in cloud architecture and CXO level engagement
