I korthet

AWS is hiring an experienced Solutions Architect with deep knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry to help energy and utility companies accelerate their digital transformation using AWS cloud and AI services. You will be responsible for technical relationships, crafting scalable cloud architectures, and driving customer success in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Own the technical relationship with customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and best-practice architectures.
  • Act as an advocate for the customer internally to drive improvements to the AWS platform and inform the roadmap of AWS features and services.
  • Help shape the future of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.
  • Define or invent cloud-native reference architectures with the worldwide AWS Solutions Architect community.
  • Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).
  • Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences.
  • Lead architecture reviews and conduct deep technical discussions on design trade-offs.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with new business units and discuss AI roadmaps with executives.
  • Build and refine generative AI demos using RAG architecture.
  • Sync with account teams to align on messaging and brief specialist teams on complex workloads.
  • Present Well-Architected reviews and write competitive displacement patterns.
  • Lead community sessions to share reference architectures that scale beyond direct delivery.

Krav

  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
  • Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers.
  • Experience architecting and operating in large Enterprise IT environments, including expertise with corporate identity management systems, enterprise authentication frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), IT Service Management (ITSM), change management processes, and enterprise security controls.
  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers.
  • Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.
  • Experience designing IoT architectures for industrial settings, including expertise with sensor networks, telemetry systems, equipment monitoring platforms, and integration patterns for legacy operational systems.
