Nordea Finance is looking for a Senior IT Architect/Solution Architect to join their Architecture & Engineering team in Helsinki. This role involves translating business needs into solution architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring alignment with Nordea Bank's technology strategy in a complex finance sector. The position is full-time, permanent, with a hybrid working model.
Ansvarsområden
- Act as a bridge between business and technology, translating business needs into solution architecture.
- Give guidance to development teams to implement solutions according to design.
- Ensure alignment with Nordea Bank's technology strategy by following group architecture guidelines.
- Determine feasible options by drawing on existing architectures and technology standards.
- Design a logical and conceptual solution architecture.
- Analyze and translate business information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint.
- Collaborate with enterprise and group architects, and application and infrastructure teams.
- Work in close collaboration with Product Management to define and refine executable epics.
- Support Product Manager & Owner with Demand Management & Discovery process.
- Conduct analysis and assessments and draft proposals.
- Manage multiple tasks and be execution-oriented.
- Mentor development teams.
Krav
- 10+ years' experience in IT projects as a developer, lead and contributor, and interest to build a career in architecture OR 3-5 years' experience as an IT architect with excellent understanding of architectural principles and design methodologies.
- Analytical in clarifying problems to be solved.
- Innovative in coming up with solutions and architectures.
- Driver and facilitator with positive energy, persistent with goals, good at building effective networks.
- Ability to communicate with both business and IT.
- Ability to express opinions and key points of an argument clearly to convey your message to different audiences.
- Ability to simplify a complex concept while not losing the essentials.
- Strong business and technical background.
- Great analytical and requirement specification skills (functional and non-functional).
- Familiarity with agile way of working and methods (SAFe, Scrum, XP, Kanban).
- Knowledge of Java and cloud technologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering or similar.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Familiarity and/or experience with public cloud infrastructure and technologies (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Microservices and event driven architecture.
- Nordea Finance knowledge.
- Finance domain knowledge.
- Understanding of front-end, middleware and backend technologies.
