As a Solution Architect – Apps & AI at Microsoft, you will architect enterprise application modernization, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions for strategic customers. You will engage with business and technology leaders to define solution visions, develop architecture strategies, and lead the delivery lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure, and AI-first solutions.

Ansvarsområden

Lead solution envisioning and shaping with customer executives to define outcome-based Apps & AI transformation solutions.
Define solution architecture, including vision, value proposition, modernization strategy, and roadmaps.
Architect application modernization using cloud-native patterns, APIs, microservices, containers, serverless, and integration.
Architect AI-powered applications incorporating Generative AI, RAG, enterprise knowledge, and AI services.
Architect Agentic AI solutions with reusable skills, tool integration, grounding, and orchestration.
Shape complex opportunities through technical discovery, workshops, demos, and solution proposals.
Connect architecture and technology choices to business outcomes and value realization.
Provide architecture governance, establishing principles, standards, and decision processes.
Drive security, identity, privacy, Responsible AI, and operational controls into architectures.
Champion AI-native engineering and AI-assisted development practices.
Guide production delivery by providing architectural direction and resolving design challenges.
Scale architectural impact by developing reusable reference architectures and IP.
Provide technical thought leadership and mentor architects and technical professionals.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business, or related field AND 6+ years of relevant experience, OR equivalent experience.
Experience shaping and architecting enterprise application modernization, cloud-native, Generative AI, Agentic AI, or digital transformation solutions.
Good experience with modern application architecture patterns (APIs, microservices, containers, serverless, integration, event-driven, cloud-native).
Experience designing AI-powered applications or Agentic AI solutions (RAG, grounding, tool/function calling, skills, workflows, orchestration, memory, evaluation).
Knowledge of modern application and AI technologies (Microsoft Azure, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, API Management, GitHub).
Good understanding of modern software engineering and DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, observability, secure development).
Experience translating business requirements into architecture strategies, roadmaps, designs, estimates, and risks.
Experience taking solutions from envisioning and POC through secure, scalable production deployment and adoption.
Understanding of application and AI security, identity, privacy, Responsible AI, resilience, observability, compliance, performance, and cost optimization.
Good executive communication, customer consulting, solution-shaping, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to independently lead complex architecture workstreams and influence technical decisions.

Önskade kvalifikationer

12+ years of relevant solution architecture, application engineering, technical presales, cloud and AI transformation, consulting, or solution delivery experience.
Deep architecture expertise across Microsoft Azure application platforms, cloud-native technologies, Generative AI, Agentic AI, enterprise integration, APIs, and modern software engineering.
Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end solution shaping and technical presales.
Experience leading complex application modernization and cloud transformation programs.
Experience designing enterprise-scale AI-powered applications, copilots, multi-agent architectures, or intelligent process automation.
Experience applying GitHub Copilot, agents, and AI-native software engineering practices.
Ability to evaluate architecture alternatives, articulate trade-offs, estimate cost and cloud consumption, manage technical risks.
Experience establishing reusable reference architectures, modernization patterns, and solution accelerators.
Relevant technical certifications aligned to the solution area (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer, Azure AI Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Security).
Architecture or delivery methodology certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, PMP, Change Management) are advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to mentor architects and engineers, lead technical communities, and contribute thought leadership.
