Emerson is looking for a Software Product Owner to translate customer needs into actionable development tasks, improving user experience and accelerating software product launches. This role involves working with global teams, prioritizing enhancements, and ensuring alignment with product roadmaps.

Ansvarsområden

Translate customer needs and product requirements into actionable development tasks.
Implement product requirements from the defined product roadmap.
Be an advocate for the customer to improve the user experience design.
Work with software engineering development and test teams to refine and implement functional requirements.
Support global product launches and release activities.
Communicate product management activities to all levels of the organization as the product owner.
Prioritize, socialize, and implement software enhancements with software development and test teams.
Increase team's velocity/productivity by eliminating waste and identifying creative ways to accelerate delivery timelines.
Help build and maintain high team morale.
Partner with the Product Manager to ensure alignment with requirements and priorities.
Facilitate small to medium groups of internal stakeholders towards desired outcomes to meet business objectives.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or Software Development or a Marketing degree with product management emphasis or equivalent work experience.
3 to 7 years’ experience in a software product owner role or equivalent.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with Requirements Management Software (e.g. Jama) and development task management.
