We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead our R&D team in Debrecen. In this role, you will guide a group of engineers in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that support Emerson’s innovation agenda. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Develop complete test solutions (hardware and software) for new NI hardware products at our Debrecen R&D site
- Evaluate test coverage, measurement accuracy, and long-term reliability
- Build a deep understanding of product circuitry and functional behavior
- Solve complex test development challenges and coordinate related engineering tasks
- Collaborate closely with local and international product development teams, including opportunities for short-term foreign assignments
- Maintain proactive communication with internal customers and stakeholders
- Support trial production and product ramp-up activities in Debrecen
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for products already in production

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Experience working in the electronics industry
- Solid understanding of measurement technology
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits
- Confident, professional-level English communication skills
- A proactive mindset with openness to learning and professional growth
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience in hardware test development
- Programming experience
- Hands-on experience designing, building, or repairing electronic circuits
