Commercial Engineering & AI (CEAI) seeks a Software Engineering IC3 to join a team supporting government and air-gapped cloud environments. This role involves designing, implementing, and operating secure, scalable SaaS services, adapting commercial capabilities for disconnected environments, and ensuring compliance with federal accreditation requirements. The position requires a US Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
Ansvarsområden
- Design, document, implement, test, and deploy resilient, scalable services.
- Design, build, and operate secure, 24x7 SaaS services integrating Dynamics 365, Azure Communication Services, and Azure AI services.
- Partner with Program Managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Collaborate with other software engineers in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Port and adapt commercial services to run in disconnected government and air-gapped environments.
- Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and live-site health.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and safe-deployment pipelines using EV2 and Bicep.
- Integrate AI-driven automation and agents into support workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve live-site incidents, and improve the monitoring, reliability, and security posture of services.
- Partner with security, compliance, and accreditation stakeholders.
Krav
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- U.S. citizenship verification.
- Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check.

- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- A technical background in software engineering principles and architecture design.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages and UI frameworks, such as C# and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with relational and/or No-SQL databases.
- Experience with web technologies such as React and/or Fluent UI.
- Experience building and operating services on cloud platforms such as Azure, including Application Insights, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Blob, Azure SQL, Azure Search, and Web Apps.
- Infrastructure-as-code and safe deployment with EV2 and Bicep.
- Sovereign or government cloud engineering.
- Building or integrating AI agents and copilots into production workflows.
- Experience working within regulated environments and formal compliance or accreditation processes.
Förmåner
- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year.
- For San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
