Microsoft's Azure Data engineering team is hiring a Software Engineer to focus on real-time analytics and AI-driven development within Microsoft Fabric. This full-time, hybrid role involves designing and maintaining critical microservices for messaging services, leveraging AI for software development, and ensuring high quality and stability.

Ansvarsområden

  • Follow rigorous processes for developing software to deliver features, ensuring highest quality and stability.
  • Drive innovation at both product and software development process levels.
  • Leverage AI in any task and add significant value with prior technical knowledge and experience.
  • Drive adoption of efficient techniques in using AI to develop software.
  • Design, implement, and maintain features for critical microservices that store and replicate user data for messaging services.
  • Develop systems software that interacts closely with the OS and Service Fabric.

Krav

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Systems development experience (working with file system/networking stack, optimizing IOs, etc.).
  • A deep desire to leverage AI.

Förmåner

  • The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year.
  • For San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
