I korthet

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Under the Roof Labor Planning Technology (UTRPT) team at Amazon. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining production services that support labor planning recommendations across Amazon's operations. You will collaborate with Science and Data Engineering teams, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and contribute to operational excellence.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, build, and maintain production services that support labor planning recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Science and Data Engineering partners to implement and integrate planning models and data pipelines.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, code review, testing, deployment, and operational support.
  • Work across cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end planning capabilities.
  • Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews.
  • Contribute to team operational excellence through on-call support and problem resolution.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of machine learning model architecture and inference.
