We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop and integrate low-level software modules for Infotainment head units using Android Automotive OS. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers and requires strong embedded C++ development skills, experience in Android Platform, and ideally QNX or embedded Linux environments, preferably within the automotive sector. Candidates should be team players with a proactive communication style and experience in agile teams.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop and integrate low-level software modules for Infotainment head units running Android Automotive OS.
  • Collaborate closely with external suppliers and partners.
  • Ensure quality through automated unit and integration tests.
  • Test and troubleshoot software in prototype cars.
  • Communicate proactively, provide transparent status updates, and explain software-design decisions.
  • Review colleagues’ code and provide constructive input.

Krav

  • Fluent in embedded C++ development and debugging.
  • Proven experience in developing software in Android Platform.
  • Experience in an embedded Linux or QNX environment, preferably within automotive.
  • Experience from the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with unit, component and manual testing, as well as test automation.
  • Experience working in agile teams.
  • Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Experience in software architecture and hardware-related development.
  • Proficient with QNX/Linux, Drivers, Serial communication, Hardware specifications, Object-oriented development, C++, Python, and Displays.
