Join CoreAI as a Software Engineer to build the AI platform that trains the world’s most advanced models, focusing on large-scale reinforcement learning and LLMs. You will develop and evolve distributed services, improve iteration loops for researchers, and apply advanced optimization techniques in a hybrid work environment.

Ansvarsområden

Build and evolve distributed services that underpin massive training runs.
Improve iteration loops for researchers and engineers.
Debug complex interactions between models and hardware.
Apply advanced performance optimization techniques.
Develop deep expertise in ML systems, AI infrastructure, and compute orchestration.
Ship platform capabilities that enable mission-critical AI workloads.
Use AI tools and practices across the SDLC, taking responsibility for AI-generated assets.
Lead by example in producing extensible, maintainable, well-tested, secure, and performant code.
Own or collaborate on the architecture of solutions with minimal technical oversight.
Ensure system architecture meets performance, scalability, resiliency, and security requirements.
Partner with stakeholders to drive project plans and release plans.
Maintain operations of live site services, responding to mitigate issues on a rotational, on-call basis.
Implement solutions to complex issues impacting performance or functionality of live site services.
Write incident postmortems and present insights to drive changes.
Improve troubleshooting guides, wikis, tests, and telemetry.
Add comprehensive observability and monitoring to services.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years related software engineering experience OR Master's Degree AND 5+ years related software engineering experience OR equivalent experience.
Proficiency in programming languages & tools such as .Net, Java, Azure functions, Docker, Python.
Experience delivering large scale, distributed, cloud based software services.
Passion for machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate complex concepts effectively.
Proven track record of shipping and maintaining Microsoft Azure cloud services, preferably related to serving machine learning models.
Experience with day-to-day AI agents and tool use.
Proficiency in Agile development practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
Quick learner with a passion for solving complex and exciting problems.
Experience with AI/ML internals is a big plus.
Experience with Azure is a plus.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
