The 1ES team is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to design and build distributed services for CI/CD infrastructure used by millions of developers. This role involves working with Azure technologies and large-scale systems to accelerate software delivery and enhance quality. Ansvarsområden

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define user requirements for features.
  • Contribute to and drive the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents.
  • Break down larger work items into smaller, manageable tasks with estimations.
  • Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code for performance and maintainability.
  • Leverage subject-matter expertise to drive project and release plans with stakeholders.
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), developing operational playbooks, participating in on-call rotations, and leading incident response.
  • Continuously build technical expertise and adopt emerging technologies to enhance product availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Embody company culture and values.

Krav

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check required upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in C#.
  • Proven experience designing and building distributed services at scale.
  • Strong proficiency with Azure services (or other cloud services).
