- Design and architect large-scale, highly distributed real-time systems core to managing Amazon's supply chain.
- Lead technical design decisions for implementations using Java, Kotlin, object-oriented patterns, and NoSQL databases, leveraging AWS solutions for PB-scale big data processing.
- Develop autonomous operations capabilities using latest AI technologies, including automated validation and hands-free troubleshooting tools.
- Create sophisticated impact analysis and monitoring solutions that ensure system reliability and performance at scale.
- Partner with product, program management, and other engineering teams to define and execute technical roadmaps.
- Work closely with senior leaders, researchers, and data engineers across multiple teams to design and implement supply chain optimization solutions.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain technical documentation and recommend improvements to development and system standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation as part of standard engineering responsibilities.
- Operate in an agile environment, prioritizing high-impact work while maintaining exceptional reliability standards.
Krav
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
- 7+ years of engineering experience.
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers.
