Ansvarsområden
- Define product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with senior leaders.
- Lead high-quality execution of software products against project plans.
- Architect and develop the best technical designs for extensibility, reliability, and scalability.
- Build and develop a high-performance software development organization by hiring, mentoring, and growing a best-in-class team.
- Own all operational metrics and support.
- Work directly with development teams across the globe on shared projects and dependent deliverables.
Krav
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
- 7+ years of engineering experience.
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
- Experience leading multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL data stores.
- Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers.
- Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or MS degree.
- Experience designing, building, operating, and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services.
- Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles.
- Experience in a high volume, transactional and distributed system environment.
- Experience with retail or e-commerce research in a global context.
