Ansvarsområden
- Define product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with senior FBA leaders.
- Lead high-quality execution of software products, ensuring timely delivery.
- Architect and develop highly scalable, reliable, and extensible technical designs.
- Build and develop a high-performance software development organization through hiring, mentoring, and growth.
- Own all operational metrics and support for the team's systems.
- Collaborate with development teams globally on shared projects and deliverables.
Krav
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
- 8+ years of engineering experience.
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
- Knowledge of engineering practices for the full software development lifecycle (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, livesite operations).
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment.
- English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases).
- Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing Software Engineers.
- Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or MS degree.
- Experience leading the architecture and design of new and current systems.
- Experience within e-commerce or Retail fields.
