As a Software Development Engineer II on Amazon's Competitive Monitoring team, you will architect and build intelligent systems using machine learning and LLMs to analyze competitive data at scale. You will own the full stack, from APIs to backend systems, ensuring robust, real-time solutions that impact customer decisions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Deploy and maintain ML models in production, ensuring their reliability.
  • Monitor model health and data drift, developing algorithms to address performance degradation.
  • Streamline the ML/AI path to production by partnering with scientists.
  • Build observability and alerting infrastructure for AI model outputs.
  • Design agentic workflows that autonomously solve complex business problems with safety and observability.
  • Engineer real-time, highly available solutions for Amazon's competitive landscape.
  • Own the full stack, including APIs, interfaces, and backend systems.
  • Collaborate globally with teams to shape the future of competitive intelligence.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience building large-scale machine-learning infrastructure for online recommendation, ads ranking, personalization or search experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 4+ years of building large-scale machine-learning infrastructure for online recommendation, ads ranking, personalization or search experience.
