As a Software Development Engineer II on the Infrastructure Supply Chain Automation team, you will design and build large-scale distributed applications using serverless technologies, data lakes, and NoSQL databases to automate infrastructure supply chain processes for AWS. You will collaborate with internal teams, write high-quality code, mentor junior engineers, and identify root causes of operational issues. This role is based in Bengaluru, India.

Ansvarsområden

Design and build large-scale distributed applications using serverless technologies, data lakes, and NoSQL databases to automate infrastructure supply chain processes for AWS.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand scaling requirements, translating them into technical designs that account for performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
Write high-quality, well-documented code across the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and operations, ensuring solutions can be maintained by engineers new to the codebase.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions, actively training new team members on system architecture and operational practices.
Identify root causes of operational issues and drive permanent fixes, improving system reliability through proactive monitoring and automation.

Krav

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
2+ years of building complex software systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Önskade kvalifikationer

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
