Amazon is expanding into healthcare with a new India-first initiative focused on online pharmacy and customer health needs. This role involves building scalable, high-quality software from scratch, with a focus on ML/GenAI, within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Solve difficult problems, applying appropriate technologies and best practices.
  • Invent, design, and build stable and performant software.
  • Consider the legacy of code produced and write understandable code.
  • Minimize short-term workarounds and incidental complexity.
  • Create flexible software without over-engineering, making appropriate trade-offs.
  • Be efficient with resource usage (system hardware, database, memory/CPU, etc.).
  • Work on project ideas with customers, stakeholders, and peers.

Krav

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
  • 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 2+ years of experience building complex software systems.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
