As a Software Development Engineer II on the Amazon Business External Integrations team, you will design, build, and operate secure, reliable services and APIs that connect Amazon Business with millions of business users and thousands of partner systems. You will own features end-to-end and contribute to shaping the future of AI-driven procurement.

Ansvarsområden

Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, secure services and APIs for integrations.
Own features end-to-end, from design documents to production support.
Collaborate with product and program managers to create technical solutions.
Participate in on-call rotations and improve service monitoring and reliability.
Contribute to engineering standards through code reviews and mentoring.
Explore AI-driven and agentic shopping interactions for procurement automation.

Krav

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
3+ years of experience building complex software systems.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations).
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
