Amazon Haul is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE-2) to join the Cross-Border Haul team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves designing, developing, and operating distributed systems for international customer and seller experiences, impacting hundreds of millions of customers globally. The position requires 3+ years of professional software development experience and a focus on system design and architecture.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, and operate distributed systems and services that power Haul's international customer and seller experiences across multiple marketplaces.
  • Build and own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and operational excellence.
  • Architect solutions for worldwide launch from day one, supporting multiple marketplaces, currencies, languages, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Participate in the quarterly execution process, including Design Forums, design reviews, and delivering features within a 13-week cadence.
  • Partner with Cross-Border domain teams and worldwide Haul teams to build on shared infrastructure and deliver Haul-specific capabilities.
  • Mentor junior engineers, contribute to operational excellence, and raise the bar on engineering practices.
  • Drive technical decisions balancing speed-to-market with long-term architectural sustainability.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
  • 3+ years of Video Games Industry experience (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops)
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
