Amazon External Payments is building core capabilities for Agentic Payments, enabling intelligent agents to complete purchases. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will own development of these building blocks, collaborating with Global Payment Tech to deliver payment primitives and influence the technology roadmap. This role is ideal for passionate, experienced SDE Leads seeking to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within Amazon.

Ansvarsområden

  • Own the development of core building blocks for Agentic Payments, enabling intelligent agents to complete purchases.
  • Collaborate closely with Global Payment Tech to design and deliver payment primitives for wallet integration, tokenisation, and agentic deals.
  • Set the technical vision for the team and influence the broader technology roadmap.
  • Drive continuous architectural and performance improvements.
  • Build software across the entire stack, from customer-facing interfaces to highly scalable backend systems.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
