Amazon Music seeks a motivated Software Development Engineer in Bengaluru, Karnataka, to build personalized music experiences. This role involves designing and developing large-scale, distributed systems on Amazon's cloud infrastructure, requiring strong OO design skills in C++/Java.

Ansvarsområden

  • Build systems that are distributed on a large scale, spanning music apps, web player, and voice-forward audio engagement.
  • Design and build multi-tier services to handle huge datasets.
  • Innovate and develop new projects in music streaming and customer engagement.
  • Work with high-efficiency and large-scale platforms built on Amazon's cloud computing infrastructure.
  • Contribute to coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Krav

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
  • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Strong background in OO design with C++/Java.
  • Experience working with WebServices, XML, Apache services is desired.
  • Linux system development experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements, learn new systems, create reliable/maintainable code, and find creative/scalable solutions.

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
