Amazon's Last Mile Technology team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions for the Amazon Flex program. This role involves full lifecycle ownership, solving complex challenges in retail logistics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience.

Ansvarsområden

Design and develop scalable software solutions ensuring high performance and reliability.
Contribute significantly to the full software development lifecycle including scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance while demonstrating operational excellence.
Solve complex, previously unsolved challenges in retail environments by applying strong technical design skills and creating innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience.
Actively participate in the code review process, providing meaningful feedback to team members and ensuring high-quality software development standards.
Collaborate across Sr Engineers, Product Managers and Engineering Managers to develop Last Mile tech solutions.
Demonstrate excellence in verbal and written communication and independently deliver quality results in a fast paced environment.

Krav

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
