Amazon is seeking Software Development Engineers to work on global transactional distributed systems, specifically within the Tax Platform Services team. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and operating complex, mission-critical systems that calculate and manage global sales taxes and generate invoices.

Ansvarsområden

  • Contribute to the design, development, documentation, testing, and operations of software.
  • Work on one of the world's largest transactional distributed systems.
  • Provide core services for tax calculations and invoice generation for all Amazon sales globally.
  • Ensure correct tax amounts are provided to customers at order time.
  • Safely store audit records to meet global tax law requirements.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
