I korthet

As a Software Development Engineer for Alexa Audio in Chennai, India, you will own the design, implementation, and delivery of innovative audio experiences on Alexa-enabled devices, leveraging Generative AI and LLMs. You will collaborate with product managers and senior engineers, influence the engineering roadmap, and mentor junior team members.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, implement, and deliver software for Alexa Audio, working with partners to achieve business goals.
  • Create infrastructure to integrate LLMs into the Audio space, championing software engineering best practices.
  • Develop tools and software to evaluate, analyze, and improve model accuracy for Audio experiences, reducing latency and friction.
  • Influence the operational and engineering excellence roadmap for core audio services.
  • Provide design and coding feedback to internal and external teams, guiding them on best practices for Audio owned services.
  • Mentor junior team members, participate in hiring, and share knowledge through demos and lunch-n-learns.

Krav

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
  • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
  • Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
