Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Quick Commerce (QC) External Fulfillment team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves designing, developing, and operating scalable fulfillment services that power micro-stores and impact millions of customers with ultra-fast delivery. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional software development experience and experience in system design and architecture.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs for the QC fulfillment stack.
  • Develop systems for external fulfillment environments with 3P partners.
  • Collaborate with engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to define technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
  • Mentor junior engineers.
  • Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid iteration cycles.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow, or experience operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company, or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.
  • Experience working in fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain technology.
