Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for its rapidly scaling Quick Commerce fulfillment team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves designing, developing, and operating large-scale, distributed systems for ultra-fast delivery, from inbound receiving to last-mile handoff. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional software development experience and a passion for building robust and scalable solutions.

Ansvarsområden

Design, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs for the QC fulfillment stack.
Develop systems that enforce operational controls beyond Amazon sites, including external fulfillment environments with our 3P partners.
Collaborate with Senior SDEs, Principal Engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to define technical solutions that solve fulfillment challenges at scale.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Amazon's engineering best practices.
Drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency, targeting industry-leading speeds.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the engineering bar across the team.
Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid iteration cycles, shipping new capabilities in weeks not months.

Krav

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or a related field.
