Build highly available, scalable, and distributed engineering systems for one of the largest data lakes in Amazon, processing Petabytes of data for Advertising. This role involves designing, coding, and deploying components and micro-services, innovating on AWS technology, and driving technical strategies for large-scale projects.

Ansvarsområden

Design, code and deploy components and micro-services for the core job management pipeline.
Ensure testability, maintainability and low operational footprint for code.
Participate in operational responsibilities with the team.
Innovate on AWS technology to improve latency, reduce cost and operations.
Create strategies, software designs and implementation for medium-to-large scale projects across all ETL components.
Work directly with product management and program management to understand and define requirements.
Apply technical expertise to solve complex software problems in a fast-paced environment.

Krav

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Önskade kvalifikationer

5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
