Amazon is seeking a Software Dev Engineer II for its UTR Tech team in Gurugram, India. This role focuses on building and scaling systems for Amazon's last-mile delivery network, including Same-Day, Grocery, and Rush programs. The engineer will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale software systems with a strong emphasis on reliability and low latency.

Ansvarsområden

  • Take part in the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale and complex software systems.
  • Leverage experience and expertise to deliver innovative solutions to challenging problems.
  • Communicate ideas effectively to achieve the right outcome for the team and customer.
  • Collaborate with others to increase the effectiveness of the overall team.
  • Impact technical decisions in the broader organization.
  • Mentor other engineers in the team.
  • Own services spanning package injection, staging, sortation, and routing that keep millions of time-critical orders on-time.
  • Directly move quality metrics like slot-level DEA and defect BPS.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
