Software Development Engineer II opportunity with the Automated Inventory Management Team focusing on supply chain optimization. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable services for complex algorithms and big-data computing, utilizing technologies like Java, Scala, and AWS. Requires 3+ years of software development experience, including OO design and data structures.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, debug, deploy, maintain, document, and deliver large-scale, highly distributed, real-time management systems.
  • Utilize Java, Scala, object-oriented design patterns, NoSQL databases, and data modeling techniques.
  • Design PB scale big-data processing solutions leveraging AWS.
  • Gather and analyze business and functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Serve as a key technical resource throughout the full development cycle.
  • Produce comprehensive software documentation.
  • Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
  • Collaborate with Senior and Principal Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers to design supply chain optimization solutions.
  • Work in an agile development environment.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • 3+ years of experience with computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
