Amazon Leo is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer II to join its founding Project Amazon Leo Commerce team in India. This role involves designing and implementing distributed cloud architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing critical commerce systems for Amazon Leo's global operations.

Ansvarsområden

  • Actively participate in overall product strategy and UI presentation.
  • Design and implement globally available distributed cloud architectures.
  • Partner with AWS, retail e-commerce, networking, and security engineering teams.
  • Be involved in every aspect of the UI for new features – from idea generation, exploring different design options, and technical design through software development using the latest technologies and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to ensure the best experience for our customers.
  • Design, build, and maintain components and services of Amazon Leo's Commerce Systems and interact with the core e-commerce and Amazon Leo network teams.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • 3+ years of building complex software systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.

  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
