I korthet

This 12-month paid apprenticeship is for recent graduates looking to gain entry-level technical and professional skills in software development at Google. Apprentices will work full-time (~40 hours/week) on-site, spending 20% of their time in training and the rest on projects, with opportunities to learn coding, testing, and project management.

Ansvarsområden

  • Learn and follow coding standards and ensure compliance with quality measures.
  • Support the team in software development based on agreed projects and platforms.
  • Contribute to implementation, unit testing, and integration to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Apply knowledge gained in the apprenticeship to real-world applications.
  • Ensure code is tested in accordance with guidelines.

Krav

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Not currently enrolled in an academic program.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in software application development.
  • Programming experience in at least one coding language.
  • Possess an active mobile number linked with Aadhaar and an active personal email ID.
  • Possess an Aadhaar-seeded bank account.
  • English proficiency is a requirement.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience using Google Workspace or a similar suite of productivity tools.
  • Experience thinking critically and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to learn programming languages based on project requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team framework.
  • Ability to navigate multiple ambiguous tasks and competing priorities while finding suitable solutions and seeking help/advice where appropriate.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, self-motivated, positive attitude, and excellent customer service capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills.
