Job Summary

**
Key Responsibilities**

Data Analysis & Understanding
Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Data Modeling & Design
Design, develop, and maintain efficient data models and database structures in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting requirements while ensuring data integrity and scalability.

Data Pipeline Development
Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and relevant data integration tools to ingest and transform data from multiple source systems.

Snowflake Development & Optimization
Build and optimize Snowflake-based data solutions, including views, stored procedures, and optimized queries to ensure high performance and scalability.

Data Quality & Validation
Implement data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure reliability and consistency of data.

Performance Optimization
Optimize SQL queries, data models, and storage structures to improve data processing efficiency and reduce execution time.

Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with BI teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into data engineering solutions.

Documentation & Standards
Maintain proper documentation for data models, data pipelines, transformations, and data flow architecture.

Continuous Improvement
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud data engineering, Snowflake architecture, and data modeling.

Individual Contribution: Ability to independently drive data engineering tasks as an Individual Contributor, taking end-to-end ownership from requirement understanding to implementation, optimization, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage technical teams in the development and implementation of snowflake data solutions.
2. Design, build, and optimize data models using snowflake and dbt for efficient data processing.
3. Develop and optimize sql queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
4. Utilize python for scripting and automation of data processes and workflows.
5. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions.
6. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members to enhance overall technical capabilities.
7. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner to ensure smooth project execution.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in snowflake for data warehousing and cloud data platform.
2. Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling.
3. Strong command of sql for querying and manipulating data in databases.
4. Proficient in python programming for scripting, automation, and data manipulation.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
6. Strong leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate technical teams towards project success.
