SME - Logical DBA, MySQL position in Pune, Maharashtra responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining critical database systems to ensure availability and performance. The role involves adherence to IT policies, security practices, and handling complex enterprise-level databases.

Ansvarsområden

Perform physical database management system design and build to support application development teams.
Translate logical data model designs into physical designs and assist with deployment and security configuration.
Serve as the primary development database point of contact and liaison to production support teams.
Act as an escalation point for incident management for assigned databases.
Leverage DEVOPS, Waterfall, and Agile practices for resilient, secure, multi-channel, high-volume, high-transaction, on/off-premise, cloud-based solutions.
Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Partner with IT teams (database, operations, technical support) throughout system development and implementation.
Develop and modify solutions by identifying technical solutions to business problems.
Provide consultation and technical advice on IT infrastructure planning, engineering, and architecture.
Review and modify technical specifications and documentation.
Troubleshoot complex systems and provide solutions in collaboration with IT teams and business partners.
Evaluate existing systems and recommend resources for maintaining service levels.
Evaluate new service options, identify issues and impacts, and provide recommendations on feasibility and ROI.
Ensure functional specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable designs.
Verify system designs adhere to company architecture standards.
Drive physical database architecture design for new initiatives.
Lead the implementation of assigned enterprise infrastructure systems.
Develop and document detailed standards for service introduction and maintenance.

Krav

Two (2) years experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
Two (2) years experience with other database technology such as DB2 LUW, Sybase, Teradata, Datacom, Oracle
Two (2) years scripting experience using UNIX/Linux scripting languages.
Two (2) years scripting experience using PowerShell scripting languages.
Two (2) years experience writing technical documentation in an infrastructure development environment.
One (1) years coding experience with one or more programming languages.
One (1) year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
Two (2) years experience working with IT vendors.
Three (4) years experience with Database Design, Engineering, Implementation and Operations
Three (3) years experience with job design, Controlling and scheduling & Automation
Two (2) years experience IT Service Management Process (Incidents, Change Management etc.)
Two (2) years experience with Microsoft Office tools
Two (2) years experience working with operating system and client/server utilities.
Two (2) years experience working with configuration management software.
Two (2) years experience in the design and implementation of complex middleware infrastructure solutions.
Two (2) years experience working with load balancing technologies.
Two (2) years of experience building technology solutions to meet corporate or industry IT Policies and regulatory requirements.
Two (2) years experience in the design and implementation of complex data infrastructure solutions.
One (1) year experience working on cross-functional project teams
Three (3) years experience working in a large matrixed organization.
