As a Shopkeeper II at IKEA in West Chester, Ohio, you will optimize the shopping experience to drive sales and profitability. This role involves managing a retail department, overseeing co-worker development and performance, maintaining shop presentation, and collaborating with matrix partners to achieve business goals.

Ansvarsområden

  • Maximize sales and profitability by prioritizing top-selling products and managing inventory.
  • Oversee the selection, onboarding, and development of co-workers, including individual development plans.
  • Manage resource planning, co-worker relations, and performance, with delegation of responsibilities.
  • Maintain core area shops, ensuring they are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with matrix partners (e.g., Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Logistics) to optimize sales and department goals.
  • Implement and communicate the Home Furnishing Business (HFB) action plan.
  • Ensure the team has correct knowledge of products and services to provide an excellent customer shopping experience.
  • Monitor competition and communicate insights to matrix partners.
  • Contribute to an environment that embraces diversity and IKEA culture.

Krav

  • 5 years of experience managing, leading, and coaching teams.
  • Experience working in a retail, customer-oriented business.
  • Experience with active selling, based on an understanding of customer needs.
  • Experience in vendor relationship management.
  • Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (1-25lbs).
