Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Shopfloor Supervisor in Hamburg, NJ, to provide leadership and direct supervision to a team on the shop floor. Responsibilities include hiring, training, work planning, shop organization, safety, quality, and adherence to standards to ensure operational excellence.

Ansvarsområden

Provide shop floor supervision and leadership to direct reports and leads.
Plan and manage new hire training and ensure employees follow procedures.
Plan and maintain work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure cleaning schedules are followed.
Implement 5S-Organization system for a cleaner, more efficient workspace.
Ensure team members complete safety training, use protective equipment, and maintain equipment.
Ensure team members understand and meet ISO standards and quality directives.
Verify knowledge of work instructions and ensure compliance with written standards.
Conduct business safely and professionally, adhering to company policies.
Manage shift pass downs (reports).

Krav

Supervisory experience of direct technicians required.
Lean Manufacturing experience required.
Effective communicator.
Advanced Computer Literacy (Outlook Email, Word, Excel, Power Point).
Ability to read, analyze and interpret written documents.
Ability to interpret technical charts and drawings.
Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries.

Önskade kvalifikationer

2-4 year degree in a related technique desired.
